Letters to a Friend, II- ∆ Reflections on the Divine

Version 1.0.0

I want to start by saying that what I’m about to share comes from my own experiences and reflections, deeply connected to something far greater than myself. My intention is to help you find your own path closer to Him through these thoughts, just as I’ve been seeking to do.

Over the past few months, I’ve been delving into research, seeking ancient folklore and mythology that resonate with the pivotal events of Act 3 in my novel Hamartia. I’m searching for a narrative that embodies the essence of the human condition—a story that feels both profoundly familiar and rooted in what makes us real.

I’m particularly interested in how our characters are influenced by the Divine during the process of self-discovery through struggle. One of the central themes I’ve been exploring is the relationship between Body and Spirit, Regeneration and Degeneration, and why these dualities seem to be in constant conflict.

It strikes me that the Creator, in His wisdom, ordained that matter be transformative and that energy, belonging directly to Him, can neither be created nor destroyed. This divine energy, both untouchable and eternal, is continuously refined and transformed across space, ensuring that God’s presence is not only felt but also acted upon, even when He seems absent.

When I speak of God’s absence, I don’t mean that He is ever truly gone. Rather, I’m highlighting His role in the grander narrative. God is the force that governs all things, and His presence is never fully withdrawn. He is constantly occupied with upholding the very foundations of reality. Were His strength ever to fully deplete, existence itself would falter, and the balance of renewal and restoration would collapse. But that is not the nature of His creation. This understanding ties deeply into a feeling we both share my Friend—rooted in the fear of abandonment and the anticipation of neglect.

But, Friend, we can’t allow those feelings to dominate us any longer. God supplies Himself to us and to all things through the conscious awareness embedded in all matter. This awareness is designed to embody a divine presence, enabling the regenerative transformation within, where all primordial energy and divine will manifest.Through Him, all things are possible. Our struggles, our pain, our suffering—these are all temporary for us, though they are eternal and simultaneous for Him.

Time, for us, is a gift, allowing us the opportunity to confront and transcend our human struggles. Everything we encounter is exactly what we need to face, learn from, and eventually overcome. We are not alone in this journey. God’s greatest gift to His creation is the applied perception of consciousness. To truly understand this, we must first see how God influences and guides us along specific paths, accelerating our learning and transformation. Our roles as both the Body and Spirit of His manifestation mean that we can only grasp a fraction of the divine intent.

Yet, through Him, we perform and channel His will, integrating the seen and unseen forces that shape our spirits and incite our behaviors.

This integration of the divine with the human is what will ultimately free us from the constraints of our earthly limitations. I hope that in sharing these reflections, we can continue to support each other in our individual journeys toward a deeper understanding of these truths.
